In 2001, an unknown Japanese manufacturer re-released 18 classic boot CDs using the old TMQ logos. For this reason, they are referred to as "TMOQ Japan". The CDs come in a cardboard slip case with a black and white printed front sticker. An original looking gold TMQ-1 foil sticker (above) or a silver TMQ-2 sticker (left) is all that's on the back of the blank white sleeve. The CD itself has four silkscreened logos of either TMQ-1 or TMQ-2 style logos. There is a colored paper insert included that lists the other titles available, and features the TMQ logos from both Label regimes. On the sleeve front it reads `Trade Mark of Quality tribute master recordings (2001), the insert reads: `TMOQ CD Archive label`. All in all, the simple packages hearken to the days of early bootleg vinyl, and will surely bring a nostalgic smile to the lips of those who remember.
