In Hollywood Bowl 1965 source: September 3, 1965 Tracks: Acoustic She Belongs To Me To Ramona Gates Of Eden It's All Over Now Baby Blue Desolation Row Love Minus Zero Mr. Tambourine Man Electric I Don't Believe You Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues From A Buick 6 Maggie's Farm Ballad Of A Thin Man Like A Rolling Stone Review: A great sounding recording directly from the soundboard. A copy of "Black Nite Crash". The Show: The newly surfaced Hollywood Bowl tape is every bit as fascinating as had been rumored. The acoustic set is breath-taking perfection. The electric set doesn't 'roar' quite as loud as it will in the year to follow, but that's what makes it so wonderful. It shows an artist testing the waters for the onslaught to come. This show is both historic, and wonderful listening. There is a slight noise on `Desolation Row`, but this is from the master source. The package artwork and photos are simple and elegant.
