Review:
Slightly mixed reviews for this one. The sound quality is very good, though not quite to the standards that Crystal Cat has established. The performance is wonderful on a great set containing some rarely played gems. Highlights including softly sung versions of Queen Jane and What Good Am I?. The opening five tracks being acoustic is a lovely way to start, before laying into a rocking Hootchie Coochie Man. Sweet Marie is incredible as well. In fact, the whole set is simply a joy! The bonus track is the best version I've heard. Slightly superior sound quality to the main set. The name of this title comes from the lyrics that Bob sings in Hootchie Cootchie Man. As for the package, this is only the fourth release from this manufacturer, and there are still a few bugs. The main faux pas here is that the release is credited as Bob Dylan & Phil Lesh. Both are pictured on the front cover. While this show was a double billing, with Phil opening; none of Phil's set is included. Not only is this cover boorish for the Dylan fan, but it's downright misleading for the Deadhead. There is a show review on the insert back that was printed over a Dylan image, making it difficult to read. Issued in a clear jewel case, yet it contains a blank liner. The back cover contains complete venue info thanks to Oläf's chronicles. As with previous releases, the discs are standard silk-screen two color with the title, disc number, and Label logo.
