Review:
This two CD release was issued in the bulky double jewel case that was popular at the time. The photos and aesthetics of this package are wonderful. The silk screen on the discs themselves, however, are a wasted effort. One blue disc and one yellow disc with a generic VooDoo print. The limitations of the mid-1970s amateur equipment used to produce this audience recording are apparent. There are, however, worse problems with this title. This is a bit of a hatchet job. It was recorded directly from a vinyl LP of the same name. The front cover of that LP was used as the front of the folded insert. The back of the insert, as well as the back jewel case cover, was taken from the back cover of yet another LP boot entitled 'Nothing's Like A Woman' There are a few vinyl noises apparent, and a good deal of quality lost from the original tape. While it is good, most of the time there is a muffled 'head in a barrel' overall sound. The original LP took Romance In Durango and Isis out of performance order so that all of the Desire material would be grouped together. They remain out of order on this CD. For some reason, the final track; This Land Is Your Land, has been eliminated, along with other songs.  Certainly not due to time restraints, as this 2 CD set could have nearly been a single. Disc one is but 43 minutes; disc 2, 45 minutes. There is a great quality CD of the entire show from a tape source entitled "Knight Of The Hurricane". Grab that one, and leave this to the completeists.

This same title was released by the OMBS Label. While it's obvious that one release was simply recorded from the other, it's not known for sure which was the original.
