Review:
This is a superb audience recording, but every now and then you hear someone talk all too loud, and it can become just a little bit disturbing (too much so to rate it a 9½). Furthermore, the show is good, pure and relaxed; and just like in earlier MSG shows, it's as if Bob's playing at "home". There's just that little extra flavor,... that typical Dylan touch... it's all there... including a very emotional phrasing on Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues. With the additional disc of well chosen tunes, one gets to hear nearly the entire "Love And Theft" release live. The double jewel box holds the discs in the deep, rich, multi-layered environment of photos and images that this Label has become famous for.
