Bob's Boots ref  #
BB-L04

This Japanese CD / commercial  CD-r manufacturer has released several titles under the TMQ name. Now they are adding TAKRL to that name. They copied the original 1970's USA boot LP manufacturer names and logos, to give themselves an instant aura of history and nostalgia. The recordings are simply a copy of Tree With Roots from the previous year's release by Doberman. The package includes four cardboard sleeves with nice looking, full color, period photo stickers attached to each. The pastel borders are a nice touch that could have been used to correlate each disc with its respective sleeve... but the manufacturer didn't think that far in advance. The pastel labels on the discs don't match the sleeves. There is a paper information label on the back of each sleeve that was copied from the bobsboots information page for the  White Bear release. The sleeves contain a slip of paper with release history written in Japanese, and a metal badge with the original TMQ logo comes with the set.
