They were long rumored to have come from the Royal Albert Hall show, and most boots bear that date and venue. Even the official release gives a nod to the long-standing belief by the subtitle The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert. The CD's value to collectors is in the fact that along with 'Document's' "Live in NY 1964", this was the first bootleg CD. As with all early CDs, it was recorded directly from a vinyl LP boot.
