Over 2½ hours of music including the first third of the New Jersey show with Phil Lesh. The acoustic versions of Tambourine Man, Visions of Johanna, Hard Rain and, particularly, It’s All Over Now Baby Blue (where he places all the emphasis on "All" when singing the title-line) are stunning. And the rest of the boot is of an incredibly high standard as well. Package and aesthetics are simply beautiful (par for the course with this Label). Great title name, as well. This is a disc you should own. Highly recommended. © 2001 CD Pinkerton / bobsboots.com |
