Review:
This odd Japanese release is not an overly desirable title. It was issued in a slick, cardboard jacket. The classic photo is of Dylan playing a Fender bass in the studio, and was used by Fender on a rare promotional poster. The studio outtakes on this set are in good quality, but are a hodgepodge of mid 60s sessions. None, of course, are from Sunset Studios, as Bob didn't record there for another two decades. Why one track from 1983 should be tacked on is anyone's guess. A misnomer title, slightly misleading dates, lack of  historical and venue information, and a potpourri of sometimes unrelated outtakes causes me to want to leave this one for the completeists.
