source: Seville, Spain 10-17-91 Tracks: All Along The Watchtower Boots Of Spanish Leather Across The Borderline (Ry Cooder/John Hiatt) Answer Me (Winkler/Sigmann) Dylan & Richards: Shake Rattle And Roll (Calhoun) Richards: Going Down (Freddie King) Somethin' Else (Cochran/Sheeley) Connection (Jagger/Richards) Ensemble: Can't Turn You Loose (Redding) Bonus: Seville, Spain Oct. 17, 1991: Dave Edmunds: Sabre Dance Standing On The Cross Roads Robert Cray: Phone Booth Going Back Home Review: The sound quality is not up to par for this show. Dylan fumble-rushes through the first two like he was trying to get back at the promoter for inviting him. The two cover tunes are slowed down, and he puts some effort into singing them. The playing is loose and sloppy, and most vocals are uninspired. The editing is terrible with songs fading in, then cutting off cold. The package includes two (front and back cover) grainy, poor quality photos from the show, printed on cheap paper. The final 4 bonus tracks are from the Oct. 15, 1991 Seville show, but are unrelated to Dylan. Leave this one to the completeists. © 2002 CD Pinkerton / Bobsboots.com |
