Now the single disc Dylan release is nearly a thing of the past. Mainstream brings it back this fall with this nice quality issue. This single disc contains the entire Dylan portion of a show that was a double billing with Van Morrison. Although it is a pedestrian concert, don't simply write it off. While 1998 has been heavily documented in boot releases, this is one of the first issues of the West coast USA tour with Van Morrison. It is also perhaps the best of the tour. The sound quality of this audience recording is very good. Mainstream uses great photos with clean lines and fonts to create a classy release.
