Information:
While I don't completely understand the logistics of creating this
package, I'd give it two thumbs up for effort. This 1984 Swedish release
from Ramona Records is actually two releases in one. To start with, there
are two near official looking covers. One
on the front and one on
the back. This is to help represent the two unrelated concerts from two
different decades contained in this two LP, three album side package.
LP 1 is from Gothenburg, July 12 1978. It's a very good audience recording,
but it presents less than half of the concert. Even at that, some songs
are presented out of performance order. The chosen tracks and order seem
to be nothing more than a whim of the manufacturer. Side three is the Konsert-Huset
show with The Band from April 29, 1964. Here again, the show is incomplete.
In this instance, however, the LP presents the majority of the recording
known to exist. (The only known tape is incomplete).
Black vinyl with incredible custom labels picture Bob, and list venue,
songs, and times.
Good quality field recording.
