Who ever heard of a boot Label issuing a promotional set? Here is a
first from the guys who did it right ...
the Swingin' Pig. In 1989 The Pig re-created the rare cardboard
jacket used in 1973 by TMQ. Swingin' Pig had previously used this
image for anti-static inner sleeves. The two LPs each came in their
own jacket that carried a foil 'Promo Only' sticker along with a 24 in.
by 36 in. sales poster with pictures of catalog LPs.
The two Dylan tracks on this set are from the Pig's 1989 release of
Royal Albert Hall .
This rare promotional set was only issued to distributors and high-volume
retailers. As it includes six different artists, it's cross-collectible
nature and low production number make it a very desirable high dollar piece.
