This 1986 Toasted LP is a
hybrid set. It contains three LPs. Two of the LPs
are reissues of the live BBC
Broadcast from 1965, and
are stamped from the original TMOQ 'BBC'
master plates. Both are pressed on black vinyl. The third album is pressed
on colored vinyl, and contains various studio outtakes (side two is CBS
Nashville with George Harrison 5/1/70 )
From the Toasted Label's Australian collection.
The original RSR Label album to appear in this
cover was called Highway 80 Revisited. The cover
was not too bad, and had been printed in large quantity. The powers that
be decided that the way to save a dollar would be to use the cover over
and over ... A white sticker touting 'WALLFLOWER/BBC'
covers the original title. On the back cover, another large white sticker
lists the songs and covers the original ones.
There is no information as to what the songs are, where they are from,
or anything else for that matter.
The Label name on the spine reads International Records.
The record labels read Wizard's Quest.
In actuality, this is a mid 80's resurgence of the original TMQ
guys! They really could have done a little better with this project. The
Wallflower album is a very nice looking clear marbleized purple.
Good quality sound.
