In 1974 TMQ began the change-over to TMQ-2. Before The new regime began releasing its own packages, it used up the remaining stock that was on hand, and gradually incorporated its own touches. This resulted in many 'hybrid' packages that contain elements of both regimes. If the packaging consists of a majority of  TMQ elements, it is referred to as a 'TMQ' or 'TMQ-1' hybrid.  A 'TMQ-2' hybrid would be the opposite.
This is an example of a TMQ-1 hybrid. Other than the blue cover (Which the first regime had on hand) the only changes to this package is an orange TMQ-2 label, and the new logo superimposed over the old on the insert. TMQ-2 also used black vinyl exclusively for many years. Another version has blue inserts and blank light blue labels.
