Review:© 2007  CD Pinkerton bobsboots.com
One of the more exciting titles in recent memory is this year end-release by Scorpio.
Out of the blue comes this never before circulated soundboard recording that pushes the vocals way out front, while leaving the audience barely noticeable between songs. Being at Old Orchard Beach, Scorpio chose a line from Simple Twist Of Fate as the title. Ironically, Bob fumbles that line and changes it to "...city docks...every single block". The menacing and hard driving Masters Of War is a highlight as is the tour debut of To Ramona and a crystal clear Trail Of The Buffalo. At 79 minutes play time, this disc includes Maggie's Farm that was left off of the audience recording release. The incredible period photos and clean, colorful fonts and aesthetics help to push this title to the top of the must have list. Highly recommended.
