Like the CC release, this one is yet a differently tweaked soundboard remaster. It sounds great, and as to which is best, it's almost a toss-up. This one is perhaps the better packaging. It almost looks like it could be an official release. The silk screen discs are gorgeous. It includes a thicker stock liner insert that is much nicer than what the Label had been using, and an 8 page booklet. The bonus tracks are a soundboard from the O2 show, although not a perfect one. It has been cleaned up somewhat, though, and sounds better than previously released. Overall, simply a must have show! As to which version, that is a tough call. Let the packaging and bonus tracks be your guide, because Rothbury is just as incredible on all the releases. © 2010 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com |
