Milk a Cow with a Monkey Wrench source:
Oct. 30, 2004
Tracks: Disc one Intro Maggie's Farm The Times Lonesome Day Blues Every Grain Of Sand Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) Girl Of The North Country (acoustic) Floater (Too Much To Ask) Highway 61 Revisited Hard Rain Disc two Honest With Me Ballad Of Hollis Brown (acoustic) Summer Days encore: Like A Rolling Stone Band intro and jokes All Along The Watchtower bonus: God Knows Lay, Lady, Lay Can't Wait Bye And Bye Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (acoustic) Review: TMR uses concert photos to create a classy looking package, but the small camera phone images are blurry. The overall aesthetics are crisp and clean. A good solid show with the reworked acoustic songs being the highlights. Also a powerful Every Grain Of Sand, and what seems an anthem for the pre- presidential election: The Times They Are A-Changin'. During the band introductions Bob uses his window vipers joke to introduce George, but then he throws out the strange line "Tony once tried to milk a cow with a monkey wrench". © 2005 CD Pinkerton bobsboots.com |
