Review:
This double CD set is one of a series of nine doubles that CC has released to document the 2007 European tour. The Paris show has been released by other Labels, but this is the best recording of all. The Cat just seems to have a way of getting great sounding digital recordings. The front cover photo is not too flattering of Bob, but it does continue the series theme of a large Dylan photo for the front cover. As with the others, this one has the odd looking artsy printed discs that just don't work to well, and an incredible photo of the venue on the liner. As for the songs,  Under The Red Sky is a nice rarity for this tour, but the Modern Times songs are the best. Another nicety that the other releases don't include is bonus tracks. This one has some doozies. God Knows represents the only 2006 performance of that song.I Shall Be Released was performed only one other time. Then, two great performances from the USA minor league ballpark tour. If your trying to decide which Paris tape to get... look no further

Notes:
Several people have written to ask about the intermission, and wondered if there had been technical problems. No, there was not. There is a law in Paris that requires concert venues to have a twenty minute intermission. Most shows break between the opening act and the main. As Bob is the only act, he had to break to comply with the law.
