Review:
This slimline double CD release is a fairly nice package with several images. They are a bit grainy or blurry, but the best one is reserved for the back cover. The fonts are clear and the information is well laid out. The biggest mistake is that Mr. Tambourine Man is not listed on the back cover. It is included on the disc, however. The discs are silk-screened in black with only the typed information and the standard Label design. An audience tape was released just a few months after the concert on a four LP box set, but this is a much cleaner tape, and the first release to silver disc. The tape is a bit distant, but well mixed. An annoying cougher is heard for the first couple of songs, but then goes away. The recording has several bad edits between songs, but no music is lost. Dylan is very talkative and introduces several of the songs with stories about them. All in all, a nice recording of a great show.
