I want Yahoo Instant Messenger!

I just installed the Yahoo IM, now how do I get the skin?

Ok, I installed the skin, now what?

Already have Yahoo! Instant Messenger 5.5?
Follow these simple rules.
1. Click here or on image of the IM
2. When prompted, choose the "save" option.
3. Save it in the "Yahoo!" skin file.
The skin file is located by going to your desktop and opening "my computer"
From there, go to your hard drive (usually designated as "(C:)" )
Follow this path:
Desktop>hard drive>program files>Yahoo!>messenger>skins
4. Now that you are in "skins", simply click "save".
5. Now what?

Got your skins and ready to roll, huh?

Great! You are just about done... now that you have it safely installed!
To access your new skin once you have your Yahoo! IM buddy list in front of you:
1. Click "login".
2. Now click on "preferences".
3. Under category, select "appearance".
To the right, it will say "current theme" where you can then choose "open_road" from the drop down menu.
4.Click "ok" down at the bottom, and enjoy instant messaging with Lee McCormack and the Open Road Band!

*Additional feature.... every time one of your buddies get online, Papa Bud's head appears as an online indicator!
