Tony Garnier
Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour Band 1989 - Present

Tony Garnier was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1956. He was a member of Asleep at the Wheel throughout the 1970's. He has recorded several albums with Dylan, and has also recorded with Tom Waits, Loudon Wainwright III, Paul Simon, and others. He has played with Dylan since June of 1989, thus making him the musician who has played as a member of Bob's band longer than any other... a record that will never be broken. He is now considered Dylan's band leader.

Tony played with rockabilly singer Robert Gordon in the early 1980s. He was also a long-time sideman for Buster Poindexter
(New York Dolls frontman David Johansen). He appeared in "Masked and Anonymous", and worked on "Renaldo and Clara" in 1975. Tony also continues to work with other artists as side projects when he is not touring with Dylan.
